Liturgical Music

St. Dominic Chapel is home to five liturgical choirs.

  Each Ensemble is stylistically unique, covering several genres of sacred music.

 

Schola Cantorum

The Schola Cantorum provides music for the 11:00 am Mass each Sunday, specializing in early repertoire of the church from chant to traditional hymnody.  For more information please contact Peter Graziano

Rehearsals are on Wednesday’s from 3:30 to 4:30 pm in the Campus Ministry Center located below the chapel.

Liturgical Choir

Our Liturgical Choir sings at the 7:00 pm Masses with a cross-section of traditional to contemporary hymns.  All singers are welcome to join.  For more information please contact  Aileen Kraus

Rehearsals are on Wednesday’s from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 pm in the Campus Ministry Center located below the chapel.

St. Cecelia Ensemble (Praise & Worship)

St. Cecelia Ensemble is at the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament every Thursday at 8:00 pm.  Mainly a contemporary ensemble, they also sing the traditional chants appropriate for Adoration.  For more information please contact Mark Colozzi or Kelli Jenney

Rehearsals are on Monday’s from 8:30 to 10:00 pm in the Campus Ministry Center located below the chapel.

St. Dominic Ensemble

The St. Dominic Ensemble provides music for the 10:30 pm Masses, specializing in contemporary Christian music.   All are welcome.  Auditions are held at the beginning of the fall semester.  For more information please contact Cat Scarcella

Bilingual Mass Ensemble

The newest addition is the vocal ensemble for the monthly Bilingual Mass.  This group sings in English and Spanish drawing music from Flor y Canto and other sources. For more information please contact Mark Colozzi

Rehearsals are one Wednesday a month from 8:3o to 9:30 pm in the Campus Ministry Center located below the chapel.
