Covid-19 Precautions and Regulations

In light of diocesan and state guidelines regarding Covid-19 precautions, the following regulations are in effect:

  • Please use the hand sanitizer when entering and exiting the chapel. The pews have been marked according to physical distancing guidelines. The Chapel is disinfected daily, with additional touch-point cleanings throughout the day.
  • There is overflow seating in the Campus Ministry Center for Sunday Masses. Attendance numbers will be limited and for those who arrive first.
  • Those in the congregation should not hold hands during the Our Father, and the community will continue to refrain from the Sign of Peace.
  • For Holy Communion, please follow the new flow for the Communion lines and maintain proper physical distancing while in line. Priests distributing Holy Communion will have ablution bowls and hand sanitizer in case they come in physical contact with a communicant.
  • For anyone unprepared to receive Holy Communion, unable to receive Holy Communion, or uncomfortable with coming forward to receive Holy Communion, making an Act of Spiritual Communion is encouraged.
  • For Confessions, both options—behind the screen and face-to-face—are available with proper precautions and physical distancing in place.
  • Weddings are still possible. Please contact Fr. James Cuddy, O.P., if you would like to inquire about a wedding in St. Dominic Chapel.

Please know that you are in our prayers. May the Lord bless you and your families abundantly.
